If you’re feeling stressed about planning for your child’s college education while going through a divorce or separation, you’re not alone. The process can be tough, but there are ways to make it easier.

I wanted to tell you about a free Divorce and College Planning Workshop happening on Sunday, April 6th at 7pm EST / 4pm PST, hosted by College Financial Prep. This workshop will give you helpful advice and support to make the college planning process less overwhelming.

Here’s what will be covered:

  • How to save money on college costs: College can be expensive, but there are ways to reduce costs and make it more affordable.
  • Working with a co-parent: If you’re co-parenting, it can be tricky to make college decisions together. This workshop will help you figure out how to work with your co-parent to make the process easier.
  • Creating a college list: It’s important to find colleges that fit your child’s needs and your budget. This session will show you how to make a college list that works for both.
  • Financial aid and scholarships: Navigating financial aid can be confusing, but the workshop will help you understand how to apply for financial aid and find scholarships to save money.

The workshop will not only give you helpful tips but also allow you to ask questions and get answers during the session. If you can’t attend live, don’t worry! The session will be recorded, so you can watch it later.

If this sounds helpful to you, I encourage you to sign up for the workshop. It’s free, and it could help take some of the stress out of planning for college.
