Episode 33:
Navigating Cultural Impacts and Myths During Divorce
with Kimberly Cook of Grown Girl Divorce
Show Notes
Kimberly Cook and I sat down for an interesting conversation about cultural and racial stereotypes in divorce. She is the founder of Grown Girl Divorce, a divorce resource company, and has the Grown Girl divorce Podcast. Kimberly is providing resources to Black women going through divorce, and those resources are meant to address unique needs.
In this episode of the Find Me The Money podcast, we talk about some of the common myths about Black women and money, and the damage that can be done by perpetuating myths like this. Kimberly is educating Black women and women of color through her platform, but also providing a community so that women can be supported and empowered.
This is such an important conversation and I’m so grateful that Kimberly spent time with me to help shine some light on this topic.
